Uncle Bill, as we knew him, was my mother’s brother and one of two really cool uncles we had in Cleveland named “Bill”. We always looked forward to seeing Uncle Bill, Aunt Lucy, and my three cousins Eileen, Doug, and “Lu’. I recall how Uncle Bill’s vegetable garden inspired my father to try his own hand at gardening, something he ended up really enjoying. I also remember how calm Uncle Bill was when all of us kids were caught trespassing at the private golf club by Grandfather’s house - his demeanor kept us from getting in really big trouble with my mother. I know that my cousins, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and long-time friends will greatly miss him. Our deepest sympathy with the passing of this kind man - our thoughts and prayers are with you, Annie Wilson (Grisez) and family.
