Carl H. Schell's Obituary
Carl Henry Schell, 81, of Westlake, peacefully passed away on October 6, 2023. He was born September 11, 1942, in Cleveland, to the late Gustav and Eleanor (née Seith) Schell.
Carl was president of Crown Die & Mold, Inc in Cleveland. He was a past president and member for over 30 years at F.O.P.A. Lodge 28. He enjoyed traveling all over the country to watch drag racing. In his younger days, his brother Bill would race cars and he did all the mechanic work. His favorite times were around the table playing poker with friends. Many summers were spent on the beach for family vacations, and annual trips to Las Vegas with his wife, Linda.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William(Cheri) Schell.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his wife of 49 years, Linda (née Vertal) Schell; children, Mark (Marcie) Schell, Paul (Kelly) Schell, Tina (Steve) Asimou, David Schell, and Laura (Brett) Barth; grandchildren, Brittany, Dana, Jerrica, Brandon, Paul, Kaily, Sienna, Paxton, River, Thomas, Ethan, and Alex; brother, Ronald (Carol) Schell. He was a loving great-grandpa, uncle, and friend to many.

Friends and Family may gather from 3:00 to 7:00PM on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Sunset Chapel (6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070). A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 10:00AM at Sunset Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, in North Olmsted, Ohio.
