Hi hun I know you're looking down today from heaven with our glorious God and savior Jesus Christ. I have tears in my eyes as I try to say words about you. And I think back maybe 30 years ago we had the old joke about the love if it changes I'll let you know remember that one I do. It hasn't changed even though you're not here I can see your presence in different things around the house. You know that the cats are behaving like usual chasing around the house and enjoying Sun when they can lay on the couch or wherever they decide to plop down for the day. Today is December 2nd about 12:50 a.m. I'll be in bed shortly thinking about you being with your mom and dad and Friends and our babies. I love you I'll see you soon God bless

Carol and I were pen pals for over 70 years. She was like a sister to me, and I am going to miss her so much. During all those years, we actually met once. My daughter and I stayed with Carol and Ray for two wonderful weeks. I know that she is now at rest with her dear Lord. We shared our faith and love for God. So, now she is no longer suffering and in pain. Rest in peace, my dear, dear friend.

I never met Carol in person, but rather online in the Type 1 Diabetes > 50 years club and reading this beautiful obituary of her makes me very sad that I never got that opportunity. What an amazing person she was. I am grateful for the brief time I was able to know her. I look forward to reconnecting with her in heaven. I am sure she will be sorely missed by those who loved her. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
