Carol K. Matejka's Obituary
Carol K. (nee Danzey) Matejka, age 83, of Avon Lake, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020.
She was born February 7, 1937 in Cleveland; daughter of the late Coleman and Alberta (nee Terrell) Danzey.
Devoted wife of the late David Matejka; cherished mother of Lynne (Tom) Blackwood, David (Arlene) Matejka, Larry (Alicia) Matejka, and Sue (Jeff) Schneid; treasured grandmother of 12; beloved great grandmother of 22; dearest sister of David (Nedyne) Danzey.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 10AM – 12 Noon in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 where a Celebration of Life will commence at 12 Noon. Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions in Carol’s name are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, Cleveland Chapter, 23215 Commerce Park Suite 300, Beachwood, OH 44122.
