CAROL LUCILLE CHIPKA (nee Metro), 81, (July 20, 1940 - January 23, 2022), beloved wife of 61 years to the late Robert Sterling Chipka. Mother of Judy (Buddy), Robert (Lisa), Susan (Mike). Tremendously missed by her grandchildren: Emily (Seaver), Anthony, Jamie, Robbie, Troy (Makayla), Amanda, Frankie and Regan. Great-Grandmother of Declan. Sister of Lester (Donna), Debbie (Rick). Preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Metro (Moell) and her father Lester Metro. On Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, after 61 years of devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren, Carol received her angel wings.
ROBERT STERLING CHIPKA, 84, (May 20, 1936 - April 12, 2021), beloved husband of Carol for 61 years; father of Judy (Buddy), Robert (Lisa), Susan (Mike); grandfather of Emily (Seaver), Anthony, Jamie, Robbie, Troy (Makayla), Amanda, Frankie, and Regan; great-grandfather of Declan; brother of Laurel and Diane. Preceded in death by his brother, John (Jeanette); father, John; mother, Kathryn. His steadfast demeanor and hugs are greatly missed by his family, he passed away Monday, April 12, 2021.
