Carol M. Schneider's Obituary
Carol M. Schneider, age 95, of Berea, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025. Born on December 25, 1929, to the late Henry and Clara Domin, Carol lived a life marked by compassion, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Schneider, in 2001, and her dear sister, Harriet Rathje. Carol is survived by her loving children: Ronald (Peggy) Beachy, Joy (Jim Reevie) Bellamy, and Timothy (Suzanne) Beachy; her cherished grandchildren: Matthew, Stephanie, Christine, Benjamin, Natalie, and Collin; and six great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. She also leaves behind her brother, David Domin, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.
Carol was a pillar of All Saints Lutheran Church in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, where her faith shone brightly through decades of service. She played a pivotal role in the church’s ministries, most notably leading a quilting ministry that provided warmth and comfort to those in need. Her hands stitched love into every quilt, and her heart stitched community into every life she touched.
Carol’s legacy is one of kindness, resilience, and grace. She will be remembered not only for her devotion to her family and church, but for the quiet strength with which she lived her life and the gentle wisdom she shared with those around her.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Sunset Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio (Section Sermon on the Mound H, Crypt 197).
