Carol Lee Vella's Obituary
Carol Lee Vella, age 71 of Fairview Park, passed away June 20, 2020. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Vella; dear sister of the late Rita Straub (Ellsworth) and the late Joseph Vella (Rose); cherished sister-in-law of Wendy Sargent (Mark); beloved aunt of Sandra Shetler (Bill), Gina Paul (Steve), Angela Mack (Terry), Christa Elias (Chris), Dawn Vella, Matthew Vella (Beverly), and the late Jean Gallagher; Great Aunt of Hunter Vella, Jeff and Jordan Elias, Anthony and Matthew Paul, JT Rowan, Colton and the late Tanner Mack; Great-Great Aunt to Laila Pietrasz; devoted friend of 54 years to Janet Pompeani and an endless list of friends and colleagues far and wide. She was loved by so many, including her precious fur babies, Madeline and the late Shakespeare.
Carol Lee was a valued employee at General Electric from March 1970 to December 1999 as an Inside Sales and Customer Service Specialist. Her charismatic love for life, family, travel, and the performing arts afforded her the profession of her dreams as Special Events Coordinator at Playhouse Square in Cleveland from July 2000 to her retirement in June 2014.
Join us in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted on Saturday, July 11, 2020 for a Celebration of Life Service at 2 PM; where the family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of service.

A private family interment will be held at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery that will be scheduled for a later date.
