A talented artist, Carole graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) and went on to become a greeting card artist for American Greetings. Carole's passion for art continued throughout her life, drawing inspiration from her travels across the United States with her husband, Ray. At the age of sixty, Carole returned to art school (CSU Project60) and developed a unique form of printmaking, which she was asked to teach by her professor, Marvin Jones.
Carole had a deep love for all animals, big and small. She fed and cared for any animal that crossed her path, affectionately referring to the deer in her yard as "her deers." Her compassion for animals was reflected in her regular donations to the ASPCA.
Carole's family will be laying her to rest privately. A ceremony celebrating Carole's life is planned for May 2025. Those who wish to receive details as they become available can submit their contact information to [email protected].
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carole's name to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) Memorial ASPCA.
