Catalina I. Schummer was born on July 29, 1943 to the late Laszlo and Teresa Forsthoffer.
Catalina loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she was known for being an amazing cook. On a sunny day, you could find Catalina at “Catalina Island” basking in the sun.
Catalina passed away on March 26, 2022. Catalina was preceded in death by her parents, Laszlo and Teresa Forsthoffer; her sister, Eva Crow; and her husband of nearly 50 years, Zoltan Schummer.
Catalina is survived by her children, Tracey (Andrew) Schmidt and Erick (Tammy) Schummer; grandchildren, Ashley (Adam) Ellis, Kodi & Tiffany Schummer, and Kaitlyn & Alexis Schmidt; niece, Adriana & nephew, Jimmy, whom she held close to her heart, amongst many other nieces and nephews; and her brother-in-law, James Crow.
