Catherine Clair Dawson's Obituary
Catherine Clair Dawson, 71, of Jacksonville, Florida and Avon, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022. She was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on November 24, 1950 to the late Robert C. and Geraldine H. Geschke (nee Folsom). Catherine served her country in the United States Navy. Catherine was a devoted educator and worked as an elementary school teacher until retirement. Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George L. Dawson, Sr. and her brother, Robert Geschke, and her parents. Catherine will be deeply missed by her siblings Mary Elizabeth (John) Wilson, Theresa (Brian) Harrington, and Steve (Lisa) Geschke; and a host of extended family & dear friends. Visitation & funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Services, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 at 12 – 2p.m. viewing and 2p.m. service.
