Catherine "Betty" Page's Obituary
Catherine “Betty” Page, age 94, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 17, 1931, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to the late Carl and Helen Peters.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Page, with whom she shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Elizabeth “Betsy” (late Thomas) Cunei, Michael T. (Debra) Page, and Kevin (Kimberly) Page. She was a cherished grandmother to Jeffrey, Brian, and Matthew, and a proud great-grandmother to Harper.
Betty worked for a time in a greenhouse and at Modern Curriculum Press, but she was best known for her remarkable creativity and her handmade crafts. An exceptional seamstress and avid cross-stitcher, she lovingly made quilts for every member of her family. She found joy in reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, and tending to her garden. Her home was her sanctuary, and she took great pride in caring for it.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
