Charlene "Marie" Huntington's Obituary
Marie Huntington, 80, of North Olmsted, Ohio peacefully passed away on December 05, 2023. She was born on October 13th, 1943, in Parsons, Kansas to the late James Edward and Eleanor Merle (nee Freeman) Woolf.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Aaron Henry Huntington (1972-1991).
She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her children, Ed (JJ) Huntington, Elaina (Robert Schaal) Huntington-Rempher, Andy (Faith) Huntington, Evan (April) Huntington, David (Kelly) Huntington; grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton, Ashley, Jesse, Bennett, Kyran W., Collin, Kayla, Kaycee, Jeff R., Kaiden, Rae Lea and Amy Rempher; great-grandchildren, Holden, Nolan, Liam, Shyann, Nathanyal, Blake, Conner, and another great-granddaughter on the way.
Marie loved spending time reading, watching Jeopardy, taking trips on motorcycles, days spent fishing, and traveling with family and friends, especially the mountains of Wyoming. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, and more so her precious grandbabies. Marie had a lonely childhood and dreamed of having a large family.
That dream came true when she got married to Henry "Hank" Huntington and had six children during their 27 years together. Another dream of hers was to live in a high-rise apartment. She was able to live on the 16th floor that overlooked Olmsted Township for many years. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed karaoke- "These Boots Were Made for Walking" by Nancy Sinatra was her signature song along with "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen.
