Charlene F. Stephens' Obituary
Charlene “Char” F. Stephens, 88, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026. Born on August 1, 1937, in Cleveland, she was the daughter of the late Irwin and Marion Shaw.
Char was the beloved wife of 69 years to Donald C. Stephens, with whom she built a life grounded in devotion, partnership, and unwavering love. She is survived by her son Brian (Donna) Stephens; and cherished as a proud grandmother to Ross Stephens, Sara Stephens, and April Stephens. She was preceded in death by her children Scott Stephens and Christine Sabol.
A devoted wife and mother, Char was known for her selflessness and her instinct to put the needs of others before her own. Her gentle presence, steady kindness, and quiet strength touched every life she encountered.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the same location.
