Charles Avery Bacon's Obituary
Charles Avery Bacon, age 91, of Brook Park, Ohio passed away on October 15, 2025. He was born on November 4, 1933 in Charlevoix, Michigan to the late Melvin and Elizabeth Bacon.
He is survived by his son, Charles Avery Bacon Jr.; and his sister-in-law, Nelda Gajdos. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Bacon, who he married in 1956; and his siblings, Enos Bacon and Robert Bacon.
Charles was a man of quiet passions and gentle spirit. He found joy in woodworking, crafting intricate model airplanes, and taking leisurely bicycle rides accompanied by his cherished cats. His love for nature and companionship was most evident in the time he spent hiking with his son at Rocky River Reservation—memories that will be deeply treasured.
In keeping with his wishes, Charles will be cremated and laid to rest privately at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio (Section 30, Lot 26, Grave 1).
