Charles Benedict Farris' Obituary
Charles Benedict Farris, age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on July 4, 1942, in Springfield, Missouri to the late Benedict Farris and Elizabeth Cury.
Charles was a devoted father and leaves behind his children, Kimberly (David) Springer, Michelle (David) Stamm, Tracey (Jeff) Adams, Renee (Vincent) Tressa, and Chuck Farris. He was the cherished grandfather of Jonathon, Liana, Benjamin, and Nicholas—all of whom he adored deeply.
He is also survived by his siblings, Michael (Alice) Farris and Bonnie (Fred) Peretto; many loving nieces and nephews; and his beloved and dearest friends, Jim and Sandy Fabris.
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lynn Farris, with whom he shared a lifetime of love; his twin boys; and his brother, Francis Farris.
Charles lived a life filled with simple joys and big passions. He loved playing bingo, golfing with his son-in-laws, and taking casino trips with his girls. He enjoyed relaxing with HGTV, keeping up with the news, and cheering, often loudly, for his Cleveland Browns with his son, Chuck Farris and any sports he could watch. He was also known for his love of food and the comfort it brought him and those he shared it with. The family is especially grateful to the Danbury community, whose care brought him great joy.
Above all, Charles will be remembered for his warm spirit, his kindness, and his unwavering devotion to his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
