Charles Wilbur Helmick's Obituary
Charles (Chuck) Wilbur Helmick, 87, of Strongsville, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022. He was born in Luzerne Township, Pennsylvania on May 5, 1935, to the late Charles and Mildred Helmick (nee Crawford). Chuck served as an Addictions Counselor for several years and recently celebrated 50 years of sobriety in January. Chuck is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edna Helmick. Chuck will be deeply missed by his daughters, Judy Meloche and Jacque Helmick; his loving grandchildren Dana Colon, Michael Meloche, and Ian Helmick; cherished great-grandchild Taven Colon; and a host of extended family, followers, and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, 4-8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Services, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A funeral ceremony will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 10 a.m. also at the Sunset Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
