Charles R. Hughes' Obituary
Charles R. Hughes, age 84 of Westlake, passed away October 16, 2020. Beloved husband of 58 years to Marilyn (nee Rebar); loving father of Ronald (Tammy) Robert (Michelle) and Beverly (Frank) Ciarniello; cherished grandfather of Joshua, Megan, James, Ashley, Stephen, Daniel and Tyler; dear brother of Billy Joe, the late Edgar, the late Vossie, the late Thomas, the late Elizabeth and the late Floyd.
Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from General Motors after 41 years. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandkids. He and Marilyn have been members of the Church of the Redeemer for 50 years and he was very dedicated to helping with whatever the church needed.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted; where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10 AM. For those unable to attend, please visit www.dostalbokas.com to view the livestream service. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
