Charles Walter Scott, 92, of Medina, passed away October 26, 2025. He was born on December 25, 1932 to the late Kyle and Ruby Scott.
Beloved husband of 66 years to the late Ruth “Marlene” Scott; loving father of Charles W. “Chip” Jr., (Sue), Gregory (Dina), David (Susan) and Ken (Angel) Scott; dear grandfather of Andrew, Emily, Lindsey, Jane, Brendan (Trisha), Corey (Elizabeth), Nathan(Lauren), David (Anna), Jeff (Stephanie), Alex (Jessica), Devin, Paige, Jenna (Luke), Ryan and Camryn; great-grandfather of Colin, Lyla, Olivia, Charlotte, David, Eliana, Matilda; cherished brother of Betty West (the late Johnny) and the late Anita Larsen (Gordon).
Charles’ family, especially his wife and grandchildren, were his life, and he greatly enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s extracurricular activities and events. Charles was raised on a farm in Tennessee and once he came to Ohio, he became an avid gardener, especially planting and tending to his vegetables.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2025, with Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted. (Section 42, Lot 339, Space 1).
