Charles Martin Wilhelm, 68, of Columbia Station, Ohio entered into glory to receive his reward on December 13, 2021. He was born July 3, 1953, in Bucyrus, Ohio. Chuck was the loving husband of 42 years to Sue Marie Wilhelm. He had an artistic spirit and was a gifted woodworker. He enjoyed designing boats and houses in his spare time. He was a mentor to boys and men alike through his days as a commander in Royal Rangers and faithfully served the regional home education community. He taught truths through storytelling. His children and grandchildren knew him as a human jungle gym. His passion was his family. He is the loving son of Donald and Mary Ellen Wilhelm; beloved father of Gretchen Wilhelm, Charles (Brittany) Wilhelm, Hannah (Anthony) Taddeo, Rebekah Wilhelm (fiancé Ben Herring), Jordan (Alethea) Wilhelm, and Josiah (Marinna) Wilhelm; cherished grandfather of Elia, Zeke, Eliannah, Tirzah, Indy, Luca, Aryia, and Rory; loving brother of Kenneth (Hunhee) Wilhelm, Chris Blass (John), Don (Donna) Wilhelm, Jane (Andy) Schneider, Roger (Kim) Wilhelm, and Sandy (Brian) Zapior; beloved brother-in-law to Claire Mulligan and her children, Alicia, Guy, Celeste, Dimitri, and Sistina; and a host of extended family and dear friends. Visitation and a memorial service will be held at North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church at 5665 Great Northern Blvd, North Olmsted, OH 44070 on December 27, 2021. Visitation is at noon, followed by the memorial service at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park at 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
