My condolences to Charlie's family. I knew Charlie all through grade school to high school and was a friend as well, to my husband Fred Watson. We grew up 2 streets away. I remember in the early 70's driving around in his red Chevy (I think) that had very large bubble lights on the back dash!! He was a free spirit always smiling and having fun. Charlie randomly stopped over our house a couple years ago, sat and reminisced with us for over 3 hours, mostly just to see how we were doing. What a kind gesture, but that was Charlie. Strange, my husband and I were just saying that we should get in touch with him. In reflecting, when that still small voice whispers in your consciousness to do, something don't hesitate to follow the nudge. To his family and close friends, I know he will be missed.
