Christel Ingrid Heck's Obituary
Christel Ingrid Heck, 84, was born on May 16, 1939, to the late Wilhelm and Frida (nee Tetzlaff) Oldach in Lauenburg, Danzig. She, her parents, and her late brother Udo, emigrated from Germany to the United States in April, 1954.
Christel passed away peacefully on May 2, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manfred Heck.
Christel was a cherished mother to Manfred (Debbie), Gerhard, and Roland (Lindsey). She leaves behind a legacy as a devoted grandmother to Jaclyn Smith, Jessica Quinn, Justin Heck, Rachel Heck, and Lauren Heck, and as a cherished great-grandmother to Eloise, Winston, Lucy, Trevor, Eliza, Levi, Henry, Cici, Georgia, and Brendan.
She spent years serving her local church in various women’s ministries and outreach programs. In addition to visits from family, she enjoyed crocheting, collectibles, and Cleveland sports.
Her love, generosity, and gratefulness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A private Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, in North Olmsted, Ohio.
