Clarence Basil Howard's Obituary
Clarence Basil Howard, 75, of Cleveland, Ohio died on October 14, 2025. He was born on May 7, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Edna F. Howard.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Howard, who he married on August 15, 1975; son, Clarence W. “Toby” (Stephanie) Howard; grandchildren, Tiffany (matt), Zac, Holly, C.J., Angellica (Josh), and Joselyne (Jon); and 13 siblings.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army, exemplifying honor and dedication throughout his service. A devoted family man, he was cherished by his loved ones and also held a special place in the heart of his mother-in-law, who affectionately referred to him as her “favorite gentleman.” He will be fondly remembered for his boundless love, unwavering kindness, selfless spirit, and the joy he brought to others through his remarkable sense of humor.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio (Pinewood Garden Mausoleum, Unit 3, Tier CC, Crypt 1).
