Clarissa Renee Simmons' Obituary
Clarissa Renee Simmons, aged 29, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to Jimmie Lee and Jessica Lyn (nee Norman) Wright on April 19, 1991.
Clarissa was studying to be a nurse and looked forward to taking care of her community. She enjoyed watching cartoons from the 1990s, weddings, cooking and crime shows but her true love was watching wrestling. On many occasions Clarissa would tune into WWE Smackdown, RAW, and she never missed a match when the action came to Cleveland. Clarissa shared many moments with her family and friends enjoying some of the finer things in life such as freshly manicured hair and nails. She was also a very artsy person and had a group of followers that would purchase the crafts she designed and continued to grow in popularity.
Clarissa will be remembered fondly by her parents; maternal grandparents Willie C. and Alice C. Norman; maternal great-grandmother Nina Bridges; paternal grandfather Jimmie L. Simmons Sr., sister Alisha Simmons; nieces and nephews Rashaun, Zachary, and Lekisha; great niece Angel; maternal aunt Elianna Norman and uncle Marcel C. Norman; cousins; furry friends Hershey and Buddy; and so many more friends.
As the days continue, Clarissa will remain in our hearts and will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be held on January 4, 2021 at 2pm in the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070.
