Clarita Ellen Davidson's Obituary
Clarita Davidson, age 97, of Westlake, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.
She was born September 21, 1922 in Mingo Junction, OH, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Grantonic. Clarita enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and playing piano. She was a proud substitute teacher and tutor who made a significant impact on many students’ lives. She served proudly in the United States Marine Corps and was a part of the Women’s Marine’s Association. Clarita loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Devoted wife of 54 years to the late John T. Davidson; cherished mother of Suzanne (James) Richard, Jack, Joseph, Tom (Denise), and Bob (Lauri); beloved grandmother of Adam (Lara) Richard, Joshua (Kaye) Richard, Andrew (Cheryl) Karn, Michael, Jeffrey, Kelly (Jackson) Schaub, Kevin, Christopher (Amanda), and Daniel; loving great grandmother of Ana, Sophia, and Livia; treasured sister of Irene Edwards and Joseph Grantonic.
Visitation will take place on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 5PM – 8PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, February 8 at 10AM at St. Ladislas Catholic Church, 2345 Bassett Rd., Westlake, OH 44145.
Memorial contributions in Clarita’s name may be made to St. Ladislas Catholic Church.
