Clark M. Moore, Jr.'s Obituary
Clark M. Moore, Jr., age 90, of Rocky River, was the son of the late Clark M. Moore and Dorothy (nee) Easton. He was a graduate of Shaker Heights High School, class of 1949. Clark graduated from Michigan State University in 1954, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. After two years of service in the U.S. Army, as a first lieutenant in the 9th infantry, Clark worked for the M. A. Hanna Co. and Consolidation Coal Co. prior to forming his own company, which his son, Mike, now heads. Clark was a longtime member of the Elyria County Club, St. Petersburg (FL) Country Club, Propeller Club in Port of Cleveland, and the Coal and Ore Noonday Club.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol Ann (nee Knowlton). His three children are Carrie L. (Robert D.) Young of Dallas, TX., Robert C. (Susan T.) Moore of Brecksville, OH., and Michael E. (Tara A.) Moore of Rocky River, OH. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
