Claude Ashton Smith, age 82 of Fairview Park passed away August 13, 2013. Beloved husband of 52 years to the late Virginia (nee Mahoney); loving father of Russell (Joann Majka), Brian (Linda Kessler), Lisa (Michael) Korba and Kevin (Jennifer Van Dyk); cherished grandfather of Hannah, Jared, Connor, Garret, Rachel, Ethan and Logan; dear brother of Lois Beardsley, the late Arland Jr., Wilfred, Beatrice Peters and Alice Bering; lifelong friend of George Vovos; special friend of Walter O’Malley and Delores Hollo. VISITATION Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd.; where SERVICES will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent for the care of Claude’s pet parrot, “Burt” of 43 years to: A-Parrot to A-Flamingo, Inc. Parrot Rescue, P.O.
