Cliff was a great neighbor on Eldred Ave. Growing up he was the best baseball coach I had at St.Mark. He used to drive me to the games and always had encouraging words even if I had a bad game. He was a great example of how neighbors should be to each other and was always keeping an eye out. He volunteered at Lakewood Hospital. Another example of how he always helped out wherever he could. He will really be missed by all who had the chance to know him. I will always remember you Coach Cliff and the impact you made on my life. Thank you! You made the world a better place!

All of us at Parkside Westside Church were very sorry to hear of Cliff's recent passing, and we express our deepest sympathy to his family, whom he spoke of often and very fondly. From the beginning of Cliff's work with our church at Garfield Middle School, he endeared himself to many of us with his hard work, friendly greetings and kind words, and stories of his amazing athletic exploits (usually evident from some new injury). Over the four-plus years that we knew him, Cliff became a friend to many of us, and we would look forward to seeing him at the school on Sundays or when he was out walking around the neighborhood during the week, or at various sporting events around Lakewood, where he was usually working. We'll definitely miss Cliff and once again express our deep sadness over his death, and we assure his family of our prayers for their comfort and strength in the difficult weeks and months ahead.

I got to know Cliff through the Lakewood Board of Rec. He was the security guard at Hayes school on the evenings that I was their to teach karate. He would always be friendly and very helpful. He enjoyed being around people, and helping. I enjoyed his company before and after class. He is missed,
