Clifford C. Riedel's Obituary
Clifford Carl Riedel, age 90 of Parma, passed away Monday afternoon on April 6, 2020. Cliff was married to his beloved wife (his Babe), Carolyn (nee Janus) for almost 66 years. Their wedding anniversary is May 22nd. He was born in Fairview Park to the late Arthur and Alma (nee Maukert) Riedel. Dear brother of Ken (Clara) Riedel, Ron (Audrey, deceased) Riedel and Esther (Dick) Dodson. Preceded in death by his brothers and sister-in-laws, Art (Rose) and Paul (Marge) Riedel. Clifford is survived by his children: Diane (Carmen) Ravanelli, Clifford (Cindy) Riedel and Nancy (Samuel) Cheraso; his grandchildren: Allison (Mathieu) Maitino, Carmen (Kara) Ravanelli, Samuel (Susie) Cheraso, Casey (Chawney) Kaiser, Cody (Lindsay) Kaiser, Daniel (Lindsey) Cheraso and Cyle Riedel; his great-grandchildren: Carter, Carsyn, Francesca, Talia, Colton, Cayden, Graham and soon-to-be Kaiser Twins; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews; beloved friend of many.
Clifford was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member at Bethel Lutheran Church. Cliff was in the Carpenters Union for 65 years. He loved hobbies like going to the Metro Parks and looking at nature, walks, wood working (his famous wood table), being with his family especially his great-grandchildren, calling his wife babe, whistling, playing hockey with his great-grandson Carter and drinking his beer! Private service for immediate family only. Memorial Service for Clifford will be held on a later date.
