Clyde M. Buchanan Jr.'s Obituary
Clyde M. Buchanan Jr., 85, of North Olmsted, passed away on January 19, 2021. Born in PA to the late Clyde and Mable Buchanan on July 30, 1935. Besides his parents, Clyde is preceded in death by his sons Scott and Eric; granddaughter Emily; and sisters Patricia and Bona Lou.
Clyde is survived by his wife Jean Ann; children Susan (Robert) Witmyer, Leslie (Danny) Crum, Allyn (Nina) Grover, Jeffrey (Kimberley) Grover, Jennifer Grover, and Eric (Bethany) Grover; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings Dwayne (Norma) Buchanan, Bobby (Barbara) Buchanan, Carola (Charles) Storrs, Darla (Robert) Wright, Doyle (Katherine) Buchanan; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Clyde served in the United States Army as a Private E-2 for two years and received the Good Conduct Medal. Following his service, he worked as a machinist and enjoyed woodworking in his free time. He was a kind and simple man. He will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held at Grace Church located at 6941 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070 on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 1pm until 2pm with the Celebration of Life beginning promptly at 2pm.
Burial will take place for Clyde at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 2pm.
