Clyde Edward McCormick's Obituary
Clyde Edward McCormick, age 81, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on January 30, 2025. He was born on September 11, 1943, to the late Opal and Clyde McCormick.
Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Karen McCormick; his devoted daughter, Faith (John) Stepic; his cherished grandchildren, Stephen (Kennedy) Trowbridge, Anson Stepic, Kaitlyn Stepic, and Ellen Stepic; and his precious great-grandchild, Bennett Trowbridge. He is also survived by his siblings, Lisa (Gary) Ammons, Cathy (the late Dave) Henderson, Matt (Cathy) Buljat, Mark (Sherry) Buljat, Kim (the late Ken) Standiford, and Michelle (Gary) Conklin. Clyde was preceded in death by his siblings, George McCormick and Bruce McCormick.
Clyde proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved his family fiercely. His family regarded him as their hero. He dedicated 35 years of his career to General Motors before retiring. He went on to work at the Medina Walmart for 17 years. Clyde's greatest joy was his family; he cherished being surrounded by them, hosting barbeques, playing cards, and watching wrestling with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed trips to the casino and visiting new restaurants with his wife. His life serves as a testament to his hard work and dedication. He was a warm gentle, kind, and compassionate man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
