Colleen Payne's Obituary
Colleen Payne, 82, of North Ridgeville, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 26, 2022. She was born in Logan, West Virginia to the late Noah and Louisiana Workman. Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Payne, and her siblings: Margie Hall, Dolly Workman, Nina Hall, and Boyd Workman. Colleen was affectionately known as “MaMa” to many and will be deeply missed by her children, Terry (Jim) Slanker, Cheryl (Kenny) Runyon, and Robert Payne II; beloved grandmother of Jessica Ackerman, Kenny Robert Runyon, Ryan Runyon, Jamie (Chadwick) Slanker-Wiles, and Michael John Payne; cherished great-grandmother of Kamryn Lynn Vealey and Morgan Jaymes Vealey; and a host of extended family and dear friends. Visitation and funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, 12-1:15 p.m. at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 followed by a funeral service at 1:15 p.m. Interment will follow ceremony at Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome to join the family for a reception at Sunset Chapel lower level.
