Matthew Cantrell
I don't do well with goodbyes so this one is long overdue.
Uncle Q - the first time I met you, you had the dress and demeanor that immediately made me think of a mob boss. The name "Uncle Q" fit the mystique and stuck from day one. You were a lot of fun to be around, always joking, laughing and in a good mood. You seemed to have the right attitude in life - always enjoy the moment. You were great to our family from the minute you met us, energetically jumping into whatever the game was we were playing - wii bowling, box out, Thanksgiving thankful share, reindeer games, pass the scratchies... it didn't matter what the game was, you were up for it. You loved us and we loved you.
You helped us get through the hard times and set a good example of how to be a support system through the passing of Pops and Dan. You were always there. Now it's hard to let go. Holidays won't be the same, the laughter won't be the same, but we'll get through it because it's what you would've wanted, it's the example you set. So to the greatest "mobster" I've ever known - goodbye for now, I'll look after the family for you but it will never be the same.
Love,
Matt
