Dan Fauver's Obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dan Ross Fauver, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on August 1, 2024, at the age of 74. Dan was born in Lakewood, OH, to the late Frank and Martha Jeanne Fauver.
Dan graduated from Lakewood High School in 1967 and went on to study at the Cooper School of Art in Cleveland. He began his career in advertising at Cleveland Magazine and Meldrum and Fewsmith before joining Wyse Advertising in 1977, where he won hundreds of local, regional, and national awards. After leaving Wyse, he continued his career as a freelance creative director, where a colleague described him as "irreplaceable,” adding: “He was not only a gifted art director but also a gifted writer. He had an amazing ability to deliver the unexpected.”
Outside of his professional achievements, Dan loved his family, photography, his dog, Daisy, and vacations with his wife.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife, Jamie Roehm; his devoted children, Stephanie (Amir) Irani-Tehrani, Rebecca (Jeff) Garnett, and Samuel Fauver, from his first marriage to the late Lisa (Hendershot) Fauver; his five adored grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life; and his siblings, Vicki (Ted) Renz and Dean (Barb) Fauver. He will also be deeply missed by his sister-in-law, Penny Roehm.
Dan's memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 1-2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070, where his memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dan’s memory to the Cleveland Animal Protective League or Bay Arts.
