Darlene L Seibert's Obituary
Darlene (Dee) Louise Seibert (Perry), of Munroe Falls, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the age of 87. Born on April 18, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sylvester J Perry and Dorothy L Jacobs, Dee was a strong and proud woman her entire life.
Dee started a career with the World Publishing Company of Cleveland and was highlighted in the April 1955 issue of National Geographic Magazine checking galley proofs of a newly set Bible.
In 1956, Dee married her husband of 66 years, Paul Jack Seibert, who preceded her in death. Dee is survived by their three cherished children: Paul (Heidi) Seibert, Pamela (Rob) Mullett and Jill (Jim) Gingo, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Mary Louise Kerr.
Dee will forever be remembered for being an amazing wife who adored spending time at Lake Erie on the family boat, the Dee-Lite. Mostly, she greatly enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren with beautiful gifts.
Always dressed impeccably, she was known for her dignified nature and strong will to take on each day. She took great pride in her beautiful home that was nothing short of immaculate.
The world has lost an incredible woman and role model, but we know that Dee will live on through those she leaves behind—her legacy is one that will never be forgotten.
Donations may be made in Dee’s memory to the Haven of Rest, 175 East Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44308 or Akron Children’s Hospital, https://giving.akronchildrens.org/.
