David Mario Bertonaschi's Obituary
David Mario Bertonaschi, 71, of Strongsville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1953, to the late Mario and Etha (Snowden) Bertonaschi. David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret Rose (Minor) Bertonaschi.
David is survived by his loving children, Sabrina (Greg) Kisil, Adrienne McFaye, and John (Lindsay) Arendash. He was a proud grandfather to Samantha Kisil, Cassandra Kisil, Louis McFaye, Livia McFaye, Luke Arendash, and Margaret Arendash. He is also survived by his dear Auntie Gloria Church and many cherished cousins.
David graduated Parma High School and attended Kent State University. He was a longtime employee of MTD until the Brookpark plant closing. David was a kind and gentle man who loved music, automobiles, Cleveland sports, and spending time with his precious grandchildren. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
David will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park on a later date.
