David A. Drda's Obituary
David A. Drda, 68, of Brooklyn, Ohio passed away on March 1, 2014 at home with his family.
David was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Edward and Bernice Drda (deceased) on March 20, 1945. He graduated from Max Hayes High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy until 1968. He worked as a truck driver for Cleaners Hanger retiring in 2002.
He is preceded in death by his brother Edward Drda and sister Carol Hartley.
David is survived by and is the loving father to four children: Michelle Miller (Joe), David E. Drda, Steven Drda and Christopher Frew (Nicole). He is also survived by his adoring sister Nancy Field, by Billy Jean Lawson mother to Michelle, David, and Steven, and by his companion Carol Yuras. He is also the beloved grandfather to Jeffrey and Ashley Clelland, Paige, Alex, Dawson and Bentley Frew, Mekhi Drda, Roy Waddell, Robert and Amanda Kerrick.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 am, Friday March 7th at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Interment will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
