David Scott Edwards' Obituary
David Scott Edwards, 67, passed away on May 11, 2026. He was born on October 6, 1958, he was the cherished son of the late Mary Lou and Jack Edwards.
David’s life was anchored by his devoted wife of 45 years, Donna Edwards, his partner in every sense of the word. He was a proud and dedicated father to Matthew Edwards, Nicholas Edwards, and Michelle (Josh Branco) Edwards. Nothing brought David more joy than his grandchildren, Logan, Skylar, and Dylan, who lit up his world in ways words could never fully capture. He is also survived by his siblings: Tim Edwards, Jim (LuAnn) Edwards, Holly (George) Dobrijevic, Beth Edwards, and Jack (Jennifer) Edwards. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Edwards.
David spent more than thirty years on the softball field. His love of sports truly shined. He was deeply proud of his son’s service in the United States Army and cherished the years he spent taking his boys to Boy Scouts and on camping trips. His daughter was his princess, and nothing brought him more joy than spoiling her, especially with the roses he loved to buy for her.
David will be remembered for his generous heart, his quiet wisdom, and the way he showed up without hesitation for the people he loved. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a story, or simply being present, he made others feel supported and seen. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched with his warmth and sincerity.
He leaves behind a family who will forever miss his steady presence but will carry his memory forward with gratitude, love, and the many lessons he imparted simply by being himself.
