David P. Furry's Obituary
The world lost a beloved man, David P. Furry Sr., 80-years old, of Parma Heights, Ohio, he passed away on April 26, 2022. David was born on February 18, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Hubert Furry and Virginia (Wolcott) Furry. David will be reunited with his beloved wife of 42-years, Donna Furry in the Kingdom of Heaven. He will be dearly missed by cherished children David Jr., Virginia (JR), and Victor (Chantel); treasured grandchildren Hannah, Jayden, and Karim; dear brother of Marilyn Hemmings (John), Barbara Tighe (Mike), along with his nieces Laura (Bob) Blatnica, Allison Hemmings, and his great-niece Stephanie Fisher that he dearly loved.
In addition to serving in the US military, David was also a member of Unity Free Will Baptist Church. He was a dedicated family man who always sacrificed his needs for the greater good of his family. He will always be remembered as being honorable, selfless, generous, kind-hearted, hard-working, encouraging, and full of integrity. Throughout his life, he had an affinity for reading books, and he enjoyed many outdoor activities such as bike riding, swimming, and camping.
Our Father is finally at rest, and we hold him close within us. Please hold him as close, as we do, in your mind and your spirit. Reflect on the meaning of what a true father is and there you will see David Furry Sr. smiling back at you!

The memorial service will take place at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 6658 Fry Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130.
