David E. Krauss' Obituary
David E. Krauss, age 66, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2014. Beloved husband of Mary Lou (nee Lipke), loving father of Veronica Gonnello, Wayne (Renee) Hauck and Mary Therese Krauss; cherished grandfather of Lorenzo Gonnello, Jake and Griffin Hauck and Mickie Krauss; dear brother of Judy Settipane, the late Paul (Gloria) Krauss and the late Barbara (Alan) Pocsik; adored uncle and friend of many. Dave served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 6 years during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Mobile Riverene for 2 years in Vietnam. He also served in the Air National Guard for 2 years then enlisted in the Army Reserve where he retired after serving for a total of 30 years. He was awarded many medals and a Purple Heart. Dave was a hero in his military service and in his home life. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 4-9 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted. A Prayer Service and Military Service will begin at 7 PM.
