I’m so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. From our early days with Indian Guides and all the years as our p&c agent, Dave would always go the extra mile for friends and clients alike. I am truly bummed. God be with you, Dave.

I knew Dave for only a few years within the USCG Aux. and was his Vice Commander. I always admired his dedication and hard work while working with him. I prayed that he would beat the illness and was shocked to hear on his passing. I could not ask for a better friend. I hope that I can live up to all the dedication he taught me. I will always miss him. Sincerely - Mike Patena
Dave was one fine craftsman. We bought a used trailer for $1500 and got a free 22’ boat with it, as Dave was fond of saying. A small group of us worked with Dave in his driveway during Covid and at the Coast Guard Station to repair, rewire, and polish this free boat into a valuable Coast Guard Auxiliary asset and had fun doing it. Dave was a friend, buddy and a valuable partner in building our great Auxiliary team. We’re going to design a special plaque for our boat. “Dave’s Free Boat” to remind us of all the love he put into it.

So sorry to hear the news that David has passed. Even thought I now live 2000 miles away I do recall the friendship and his wonderful smile. My prayers are with you Kathy. May God bless you and your family during this time of grief.
All my love
