David Miles' Obituary
David Miles, 73, of Parma, Ohio, passed away on October 15, 2025. He was born on August 19, 1952, to the late Elizabeth and Lawrence Miles.
He is survived by Marsha, his beloved wife of 55 years, whose partnership was the cornerstone of his life. Together they raised three children: Eric D. (Madalina) Miles, Laura A. (Wayne) Koran, and Kristen K. Bowden, who carry forward his legacy of love and integrity. David was a proud grandfather to Sophia and Oliver, whose laughter and curiosity brought him endless joy.
David was one of twelve siblings: George, Joanne, Judy, Jerry, Pamela, William, Todd, and Michael, and was preceded in death by Donald, Raymond, and Diane. He also leaves behind a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
A carpenter by trade, David was known for his intelligence, skill, and mentorship. He was highly adept at solving problems, approached every project with precision, and every relationship with warmth and sincerity.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where a prayer service will begin at 6:00 PM. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where guests are asked to gather at the cemetery gate at 10:45 AM.
David’s life was a testament to dedication, humility, and love. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
