David Michael Molnar's Obituary
David Michael Molnar, 42 of Lakewood, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2021. He was born and raised in North Olmsted, Ohio, and attended North Olmsted High School (1996) and Youngstown State University (2000). Loving son of Eileen (nee Cibik) Molnar and Dale (Esther Perotti) Molnar; cherished brother of Marc (Kelley) Molnar, Gregory Molnar, and twin sister Kristin (Joe) Young; and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dave’s life was filled with the joyous sound of music. As a music teacher at the School of Rock, he loved working with his students, coordinating and directing their shows. He played in numerous bands over the years, often in several simultaneously, and thrived on “going to practice.” His talent went beyond the ability to play guitar; he also had a great passion for writing and recording his own music. He was a friend and mentor to countless musicians in the Cleveland area, and he will be missed by so many. Dave filled the lives of his friends and family with love, and the sound of his music will echo in their hearts for years to come. Please be with the family in prayer and reflection as they grieve their loss. There will be a memorial gathering for Dave Molnar at the Happy Dog on Sunday, August 29th at 4 PM. It will be a nice chance for us to get together to share stories, music, and memories." In the meantime, the family asks that you might consider a donation in memory of Dave to one of the organizations listed below.
