David Woytus' Obituary
David Woytus, age 62, passed away November 6, 2024. He was born on May 16, 1962, in Lakewood, Ohio to the late Stephen and Mary Kay Woytus. David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Married 40 years to his beloved wife, Teresa Woytus. David was in the United States Army infantry division. Stationed mainly in Hawaii and Texas.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Teresa Woytus, and their children, Jason (Amanda) Woytus, Jessica Woytus, and Stephanie Woytus. David was a proud grandfather to Robert Kelley, Zayden Woytus, Alivia Woytus, and soon to be baby Keegan. David is also a dear brother to Rick (Krista) Nordin, Jamie Nordin, Jackie Graham, Kris Pitts, and Kristine Redinger (deceased). David enjoyed being an uncle, great uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
David’s warmth, kindness, and dedication to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him. David was devoted to his children, grandchildren. He was the “sports dad/ grandpa”. David had a sense of humor like no other, he always was the one to crack a joke in any situation. David was also an animal lover, he spent countless hours having nap sessions with his two dogs Cheech and Alex. He was a man who would give the shirt off his back if it was the last thing he could give. His legacy of love and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
