Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Hill's Obituary
Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Hill, 68, of Olmsted Falls passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. Born on April 13, 1956, to the late Lorraine and Henry Schmuck, Jr., Debbie was a beloved mother, grandmother “Mimi”, aunt, sister and friend.
Debbie is survived by her two daughters, Amber (Matt) Snyder and April (John) Hill, who were the absolute light of her life. She also leaves behind her cherished niece, Jamie (Travis) Jackson and her beloved sister, Danette (Fernando) Jimenez. Debbie’s legacy continues on through her four grandchildren, Mia, James, Layla, and Ainsley, and her four great-nieces and great-nephews, Trevor, Jerry, Sarah, and Savannah. Debbie also leaves behind her fur baby, Kitty who was her most precious companion.
Debbie’s greatest joy in life was being a mother, but even more so a “Mimi” to her grandchildren. She loved reading romance novels, watching Hallmark movies, Christmas, crafting, the color green, gerber daisy flowers, and volunteering. Her laugh was contagious, and she always prioritized her family and friends above all else.
Debbie’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She touched many lives with her generous spirit and will be remembered fondly by her family and friends. Debbie’s memory will remain in the hearts of everyone’s lives that she touched.
Debbie’s family will be holding a private graveside service to honor her memory at Sunset Memorial Park on Monday, November 25, 2024. In addition, her family will be hosting a celebration of life ceremony at the Woodgate Farms Development Community Center in Olmsted Township on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 12pm - 3pm. All friends and family of Debbie are welcome to attend.
