Deborah Elizabeth Petrunia's Obituary
Deborah Elizabeth Petrunia, 61, of Cleveland, passed away on March 12, 2024. She was born on May 23, 1962, to the late Donald and Dorothy Petrunia.
Debby was a devoted teacher for the Cuyahoga Heights School district for 31 years, where she taught pre-k. Even after she retired, she continued working part-time for the school. Her students meant the world to her. Recently she established a $25,000 scholarship for any of her students from Cuyahoga Heights who were planning to attend The Ohio State University.
Debby leaves behind her loving sister, Becky Petrunia, her adored cat, Jazz, and her amazing friends.
Visitation is Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 5-7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Funeral Service is Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Debby's scholarship fund by writing a check payable to Cuyahoga Heights Schools and putting Debby's name in the memo. Donations can be mailed to 4820 East 71st Street, Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio 44125.
