Dennis R. Miller's Obituary
Dennis R. Miller, 95, of Strongsville, Ohio passed away on October 3, 2021. He was born on May 3, 1926 in Eccles, West Virginia to the late Vernie and Myrtle (nee Goins) Miller. Dennis retired from Ford Motor Company Plant 1&2 in Brookpark, Ohio as Superintendent. He was a proud veteran of the US Army during WWII in the South Pacific and a recipient of a Purple Heart. Dennis loved his family and lived for creating the best life for all his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Dennis will be deeply missed by his loving wife Dorothy Miller of 73 years; children Donald (Christine) Miller; treasured grandchildren Gregory (Melinda) Miller, Anthony (Michelle) Miller, and Christina Miller; cherished great-grandchildren Nicholas, Alex, Hudson, and Emmerson Miller; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his son Robert Miller; siblings Wallace, Sam, Frank, Charles, and Betty; and daughter-in-law Sandra Miller. Family and friends may call on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM with services at 2:00 PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The family requests that all visitors wear a mask to the showing and funeral regardless of vaccination status. Please follow social distancing protocols.
