Diane Zierow's Obituary
Diane Zierow, 82, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Savior after a lengthy illness on February 17, 2023. She was born on September 23, 1940, in Calumet, Michigan to the late Russell and Saima Waatti. After graduating from Calumet High School and earning an associate’s degree, she used her secretarial and office management skills in various firms. Not only was she an accomplished pianist and organist, but she directed church choirs in several states.
Diane married her beloved husband, Arnold Zierow, celebrating 61 years together. Their two sons, Karl and Scott (deceased), were supported by them in their activities. Diane and Arnold both loved gardening, spending hours planting, pruning, and feeding the pond critters, along with the birds and squirrels. Bouquets from their yard could win awards—a gifted lady she was! Her brother, Russell, preceded her in death; her sister, Susan (Gerard), will deeply miss her.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 28081 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
