Dolores J. "Dolly" Strenko's Obituary
Dolores J. “Dolly” Strenko, 83, of Olmsted Falls, passed away January 9, 2019.
Beloved mother of Karen Landi and Michael (Barbara) Strenko; her son David (Mary) Strenko who preceded her in death; loving grandmother of Tiffany, Nicholas, Anthony, Michael, and Racquel; dear great grandmother of Kenadie, Kayden, Keagan, and Karlie; cherished sister of Bernard (Barbara) Andrews and Charles (Diane) Andrews. She was preceded in death by her parents Duke and Mary (Adamczyk) Andrews; and her sister Mary Ann Salvaggio.
Dolly was a veteran, serving in the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. She was the former Director of Southwest Hospital Dietary and Nutrition Services. Dolly was an active resident of Four Lakes Golf Club Retirement Community in Winterhaven, Florida. She was a member of the Four Lakes Veterans Association, where she won the Veteran of the Year Award. Dolly was also a member of the National Restaurant Association and was the winner of the Silver Plate Award. She enjoyed traveling and planning group activities at Four Lakes. Dolly cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 11:30 AM – 12 PM at St. Mary’s of Berea, 250 Kraft Street, Berea, OH 44017, where her Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 12 PM. Please meet at church. A committal service will follow at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
