Hi. I didn’t know Dominique personally and she passed away shortly before I was born. She seemed like the sweetest girl anyone could ever meet. It’s sad that she didn’t get to live life it would’ve been her 21st birthday this year. I attended grindstone for kindergarten 1st grade and fourth grade. I remember seeing people on Dominique’s buddy bench it gave us a way to make new friends. I am glad that her legacy is still living on because the buddy bench is still there and kids still use it. No one really knew the story of Dominique it’s sad. But I am so so so so sorry for your loss. We lost a sweet little angel. I’d like to imagine her up in heaven dancing and singing I bet she has friends up there. Another sweet girl gone far too soon. LLDR long live Dominique Reyes.

Madison had the pleasure of spending time at camp with Dominique and will miss her so much! She loved dancing with Dominique and doing all sorts of camp things with her. She said that Dominique was her best friend at camp and camp will never be the same without her. Madison is a bit shy and Dominique always helped get her involved. Madison also loved playing with Dominiue at Kalahari and at the spray park. She remembers rolling down a grassy hill with her this past summer at the spray park. I will miss Dominique's beautiful smile and her amazing spirit. Thank you for sharing Dominique with all the girls in the cabin at CQ and with all the other kids there as well.

Our daughter, Kemery, was Dominique's cabin mate at camp for 2 years. She spoke so often of Dominique's happy, fun, loving personality. We will always think of SPARKLE when we thing of her. She always had bling on her person…somewhere…and she sparkled from the inside out. I will always treasure the weekend we spent with Heather and Dominique at the WIgs For Kids fundraiser and witnessing the life and spirit that Dominique exuded as she warmed every heart she met and refused to let the night end, swimming with Kem and insisting on a sleepover in her room. She witnessed to God every chance she got, talking with Kemery about her faith and letting our whole family see just what being a true Christian means. Dominique, we will miss you terribly but smile knowing that you have just made heaven a little brighter…sparklier, I guess. Reyes family, we are so sad we are not able to make calling hours or the funeral but are there with you in our hearts. God bless.

I was so blessed to have been Dominique's companion this past summer at Camp Quality. She made it the most amazing experience and a week I will never forget. She had such energry and kindness towards everything and was always positive. I will always look back on that week and smile knowing I was able to be apart of her camp experience and she was apart of mine. Thoughts and prayers for your family, I know we all loved her dearly.

We (Camp Quality Ohio) have been blessed to have Dominique with us at camp for a few years now. Camp absolutely will not be the same without Dominique. She lit up the room when she entered and made sure that everyone was having fun when she was around. We thoroughly enjoyed watching her in the talent show with her cabinmates each year. One of our favorite memories is of Dominique dressed up for the Prom and dancing the night away. She had a lot of friends at CQ. We will miss your little angel as she plays and camps in Heaven with her other CQ friends who were there waiting for her…and that's when she's not asking God all of the questions she said she had for Him! Thank you Heather and Abel for sharing Dominique with us at Camp Quality.
