Donald "Don" D. Steiner's Obituary
Donald “Don” D. Steiner, 79, of North Olmsted, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2019.
Beloved husband of Sharon (Kabasan); loving children Don (Anne) Steiner, Bob (Lauren) Steiner; and Mick Steiner; loving grandfather of Crown Steiner; dear brother of Ed (Barbara) Steiner, Charles (deceased) (Martha) Steiner; Paul (Donna) Steiner, and twin brother Ron (Ruth) Steiner; and loving uncle to many.
Don had a giving heart and was a friend to all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, even to a stranger. Don grew up on a farm in Wooster where he found his love of animals, especially dogs and goats. After working as a barber at Belle Barber Shop, Don enjoyed a long career in maintenance at Great Northern Mall and then Strongsville City Schools. He took great pride in his lawn. Don enjoyed camping, spending time outdoors, and riding his bike. He was an avid fan of Cleveland sports teams. Don cherished spending time with his beloved family and friends, and his dog Eddie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 4-8 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where his funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 12 PM Noon. A graveside service will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
